Close JSC "Electrovypryamitel - WST" is a unique enterprise not only in Republic of Mordovia, but in Russia as a whole.
The works of special transformers "Electrovypryamitel" was founded in 1979 only for needs of Defense Ministry.
In 1993 the works became a branch office of Public JSC “Electrovypryamitel”, in doing so, it was incorporated as legal person.
In 1999 the works was rearranged into Closed JSC "Electrovypryamitel – The works of special transformers".
During the time elapsed the works didn’t lose its many years’ standing experience of development and production of transforming facilities. On the contrary, it has developed expertise drastically.
The works has a unique test centre, keeps solid scientific and technical, intellectual and productive potential. Presently, the works engages about 500 experienced specialists, training and instruction of unexperienced specialists - grant-aided students of the works at the Ogarev Mordovian state university has become a common practice.
Our engineering and technical centre cooperates with other scientific and research institutes of Russia.
New process developments are always under way, products up-dating takes place. They are built around new components.
The works still specializes in output of power transforming facilities, that are used in fuel power, shipbuilding and other branches of national economy.
Currently, our production line covers more than 120 products of semiconductor electric energy transformers with wide application area: power, charging-starting, welding, electric drivers, electrolysis, starting. UPS, built around personal computers and servers, are ideal for electric energy supply of automated process control systems. Products of Closed JSC "Electovypryamitel - WST" are delivered and operated both in Russia and in near and far abroad: Kazakhstan, Viet-Nam, India, China and etc.
Deliveries between Russia and China according to intergovernment agreement are maintained.
The works is still climbing dynamically providing increase in products volumes in the average by 12-15 %. In doing so, export share in production output increases.
The works main activities are quality products output that compares well with the best foreign analogs concerning technical parameters. This, finally, provides country’s defense capacity.
Manufactured products quality is guaranteed by effective use of Quality Management System certified for compliance with the requirements of GOST R ISO 9001-2001, Standards SRPP VÒ, including GOST RV 15.002-2003 at the works.
The works Closed JSC "Electrovypryamitel - WST" has built up a firm reputation in the circles of Defense Ministry industrial complex, Ministry of industry and power engineering and other State Departments of Russia. It is confirmed by numerous awards - both domestic and international:
- the certificate of Russian Federation "The leader of Russian economy” is issued to the works,
- the works was awarded a Birmingham prize,
- in 2005 International Management and Quality academy awarded the works with a diploma of prize-winner of VII th international competition and with a gold medal "European Quality",
- in January 2007 and 2008 the works was awarded a diploma and a gold medal “Guarantee of quality and security” at the International competition “National Security”,
- in 2005 the works won a deed “ Parton’s gold Deed” for outstanding contribution to revival of elevated ideas of spirituality and charity by the decision of Board of Guardians of International Charity Fund “Patrons of century”.
